VINEYARD WEDDING

Also, sunset, golden-hour wedding portraits are my favorite - and this place has one of the best sunset views I've seen! I loved getting to sneak away from the reception with the bride and groom to capture these shots right as the sun was setting. It's a very special feeling I got as I witnessed the couple's joy and giddy laughter during their private portraits, because they were FINALLY husband and wife!
This Texas September wedding had the most perfect weather! The day before, I actually shot another wedding at this exact same venue, with sixty degree temperatures and non-stop rain. I was so worried that the gloomy weather would run into the next day and ruin this couple's outdoor wedding plans - but thankfully the weather was exactly how they envisioned it to be for their special day.
And to top it off, they had the cutest ring bearer. Keep scrolling to find out who it was!
That's right! The happy couple included their gorgeous dog in their wedding party. He proudly walked down the aisle as their ring bearer!
If you haven't gotten a chance to tour this wedding venue yet for your special day, definitely do. It's set on a hill which overlooks acres of greenery and the view is truly breathtaking! It makes you feel like you're not in Texas anymore, but rather having that mountainy-destination wedding you always dreamt of.
One of my favorite parts of a wedding day is when the bride and groom exchange vows. It's a beautiful, emotional time in which promises are made that will bind the couple together for the rest of their lives. "...So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate." -Mark 10: 8-9
The vows remind me of my own wedding, and how I felt standing in front of the man of my dreams at the altar, promising to spend all my earthly years by his side. Hearing the vow exchange brings me to tears every.single.time.
Donut let anyone talk you out of having a donut display at your wedding instead of a cake! Sure, wedding cakes are both gorgeous and delicious, BUT SO ARE DONUTS!
Keep in mind you can definitely have both, so that you can still do a traditional cake-cutting ceremony. While you think about that, I'll be running over to the local donut shop to snag some donuts!
