Friday Films and Foto got its name from my married name, Fraire, which sounds just like the day of the week we all look forward to, Friday!
I started this business because I truly believe that moments in life should be cherished and remembered, so helping people capture the most special of days will allow them to accomplish just that.
But how did I get the idea to start a business?! Long story short, I earned a BA in Film from The University of North Texas, GO MEAN GREEN! That summer, I married my best friend and was overwhelmed with joy when I received my wedding pictures and video. That's when I knew that I wanted to bring that same joy to other brides, as my photographer and videographer did for me! Now for the long story long...
I grew up in Dallas, TX, and was always the girl in the family carrying a camera... I literally have thousands of pictures and videos of our family trips! Capturing joyful occasions was always fun for me, but I never imagined that it would become my career; I'm truly living the dream!
Then when I went off to study filmmaking at UNT in Denton, I really started taking my hobby seriously. By the way, if you haven't been to Denton, I definitely recommend checking out the downtown square and grabbing a burger there at LSA, and ice cream at Beth Marie's for dessert! (My fav flavor is "Bee's Nee's" which is lavender and honey; it is SO good!)
Anyway, I got married two months after graduation and fell in love with all things wedding related. My wedding photos and video brought me to tears (and still do to this day!) and I thought to myself: what if I could bring this same feeling of joy to other happy couples out there?! Shortly after is when Friday Films + Foto was born!

In my spare time, I like to:
- Play ping pong at home with my hubby
- Go camping or kayaking at the lake
- Jam out on my ukelele
- Go to the movies
- Take care of my plants
THE WEATHERFORDS
We have used Friday Films + Foto twice now, for family photos and vow renewal. Demi is great to work with, responds quickly, very professional, and fun during the session. The photos have turned out absolutely dreamy both times and we will use her again!
